Deleting an account
Sign in to request a copy of your data or to delete your account.
What is deleted immediately
- Your personal profile, display name, email address, phone number, and spoken language settings.
- Your password hash, linked OAuth identities (Google/Apple), active sessions, and one-time tokens.
- Your personal notification preferences, saved products, and saved supplier lists.
- Your personal memberships in buyer or supplier organizations.
What is kept, for how long, and why
- Billing invoices & payment records (six years after financial year end)
- Kept until six years after the end of the financial year in which they were issued, then deleted, to meet UK tax and accounting record-keeping duties.
- B2B trade messages, RFQs, quotes & published reviews (Anonymized)
- Retained in anonymized form so counterparty organizations keep an accurate commercial record of past B2B quotes, orders, and verified reviews.
- Security audit log (IP address cleared after 12 months, entry deleted after 6 years)
- Kept for fraud prevention, abuse investigation and security. The IP address is cleared 12 months after the entry is made; the entry itself is deleted 6 years after it is made.
- Moderation decisions & appeals (deleted after 3 years)
- Kept so that a decision can be explained and appealed under the EU Digital Services Act, then deleted 3 years after the decision or appeal.
