AMYA AFRICA LTD is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all business buyers, suppliers, and visitors across our 13 supported languages, including right-to-left (RTL) Arabic.
Conformance Standard & Target (WCAG 2.2 Level AA)
We design, build, and test Amya.africa to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and European standard EN 301 549.
Our technical accessibility measures include semantic HTML5 landmarks, a keyboard skip-to-content link, full keyboard navigation for search comboboxes and dialogs, logical CSS layout properties for seamless LTR and RTL rendering, sufficient foreground/background color contrast, and automated axe-core accessibility verification on every release.
Known Limitations & Remediation
While core marketplace navigation, search, catalog pages, and authentication flows pass automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks with zero serious or critical violations, some supplier-uploaded PDF specification sheets or third-party certificates may not yet include full screen-reader tagging. We work with suppliers to provide accessible structured specifications alongside uploaded documents.
